Dr. Cara Pocano has been in practice for over five years and believes that every patient deserves a doctor who treats them with compassion and excellent care.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She attended Northern Arizona University prior to her dental degree and received an Honors Bachelors degree majoring in biomedicine. She believes strongly in continuing education and regularly takes advanced courses in restorative, cosmetic, and preventive dentistry to stay at the forefront of modern dental technology.

She is an active member of the American Dental Association® (ADA), and is a member of Spear Education. Her care philosophy is centered on patient education, listening closely to individual needs, and creating customized treatment plans that prioritize long-term oral health.

Outside the office, Dr. Pocano loves spending time outdoors with her husband and miniature dachshund, Nutmeg. You can often find her trying new restaurants (she is always open to recommendations), reading a good book, or heading up to Snowbowl for a snow day and some skiing.
