Arizona native Dr. Kent Stapley was born in Mesa and grew up in Tempe. A graduate of Corona del Sol High School, Dr. Stapley went on to spend his undergraduate years at Mesa Community College and Brigham Young University. He then attended dental school at Southern Illinois University, graduating at the top of his class. After graduation, he returned to Arizona and immediately opened a private dental
practice in Mesa. Five years later, he joined forces with a friend from his dental school days, Dr. Nathan R. Kitchen, and mutual friend, Dr. Mark Anthony. The three have been in practice ever since. Dr. Stapley enjoys being in practice with his colleagues. As a group, overhead costs are minimized and savings are passed onto his patients.

Dr. Stapley’s practice style is simple: he is employed by you, the patient. He will always treat you the way he would want to be treated. Dr. Stapley aims to be a good listener and an honest diagnostician who provides a high level of dental care in a gentle manner. The educated and caring team at Mesa Dental Health are able to assist even the most anxious patients through their dental treatment. Dr. Stapley finds great satisfaction in helping patients with dental emergencies. His goal is to handle them immediately. He is always available to consult with patients over the phone when needed.

He has extensive experience in endodontics (root canal therapy) and oral surgery (extractions, bone grafting and implants). Dr. Stapley is certified in laser dentistry and is able to do most fillings without a
drill, if desired. He is also able to trim overgrown and asymmetric gum tissue and remove many oral lesions or growths with a laser rather than a blade with excellent results. His patients have found that they are more comfortable when the laser is used, and recovery is also much quicker and more pleasant.

Dr. Stapley is a founder, developer, owner and advisor of DentiMax, Inc., a dental practice management software company that services thousands of dental offices around the world. He is also an owner of Total MD, Inc., which is a medical practice management software company. He has been published in several dental journals for his research and expertise.

In his spare time, Dr. Stapley enjoys being with his beautiful wife and nine children. Together, they enjoy water sports, snow skiing and traveling around the world. He and his family are very active in their Christian faith and strive to live by the inspiring principles it teaches.

Born and raised in Arizona, Marli brings 26 years of dental experience and a warm, friendly smile to our front desk. She’s been with our office for three years and loves building real connections with our patients. A mom of three and an avid golfer, Marli is known for making every visit feel welcoming.

Mariola has over 25 years of experience in dentistry working in both the front and the back of the office. With so many years of experience she is able to understand treatment needs. Mariola loves working with doctors that put their patients well-being first. She joined the practice in 2022 and is our Office Manager. She helps our office run smoothly by handling the insurance and financial aspects of our patients’ care. Mariola has two adult sons and when she isn’t working she loves reading, hiking, doing puzzles, riding her bike, and traveling.

Jamie is our Front Office Scheduling Coordinator. She recently joined our team in the Spring of 2023. Jamie helps support our Doctors and Hygienists by adjusting the daily schedule so that each day runs smoothly. Her favorite part about being a part of our team is getting to know all of our wonderful patients. She also enjoys working with such excellent doctors and staff who genuinely care about their patients and co-workers. Outside of the office, Jamie likes to spend time outdoors, traveling, photography, and cruising around with her husband and 7 kids in their VW Bus and Bug.

Heidi is a seasoned dental professional with 10 years of experience. She excels at patiently gathering all insurance information and collaborating with her team to ensure every smile is confident and cared for.

In her free time, Heidi enjoys bike rides with her husband, traveling and taking pictures as well as everything about her family.

Tracie has been in the dental field for over 20 years and has been Dr. Kitchen’s Hygienist since 2011. She started as an assistant at our office before attending A. T. Still’s School of Dentistry for her hygiene degree. She loves working with patients she has known for years. She also finds joy in working with amazing co-workers and with doctors she trusts and respects. Tracie has a talent for meeting new people and helping them feel comfortable. Tracie is a big fan of traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with her family.

Valerie graduated from the Rio Salado College of Dental Hygiene in 2009 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Stapley since 2012. The best parts of her job are working with the great people at our practice and the fact that we have the world’s best patients. Valerie looks forward to catching up with each of our patients during their routine visits. Valerie has been married for 28 years and has 3 great children. Spending time with her family is very important to Valerie, and they love traveling and playing together. Valerie enjoys reading, family history, and Mexican food.

Adriana attended ASU and got her bachelors in education and later went to dental assisting school at American Institute of Dental Assisting. With years of hands-on experience in both chairside and administrative roles, Adriana brings skill, empathy and a sharp sense of humor to every appointment. She believes dentistry works best when patients leave not only with a healthier smile, but a reason to smile, too. Outside the office she enjoys hiking, reading, watching movies, and spending time with family.

Megan graduated from the American Institute of Dental Assisting and has been a part of our team since 2018. She is Dr. Stapley’s Lead Dental Assistant and daily impresses us with her skills. Megan excels in providing efficient and quality work while also connecting with each patient and making sure they feel comfortable. She enjoys a variety of different hobbies such as, bull riding, ukulele playing, and collecting typewriters and vinyls. She is also a mother to her sweet son and loves spending as much time as she can with him.

Chloe graduated top of her class from NAU in 2020 and has been with our office since 2023. It is her mission for all her patients to feel safe and to provide a non-judgmental environment. She appreciates building relationships with whomever she interacts with and is passionate about education and prevention. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her family and friends, hiking and doing yoga.

Zosia graduated from the American Institute of Dental Assisting and joined our office in 2019. She is Dr. Kitchen’s Lead Dental Assistant and she makes a point to give each and every one of her patients her best effort. She enjoys getting to know new patients and catching up with patients who have been with us for a while. She likes working for an excellent dentist that does great dental work. Zosia is recently married and enjoys spending time with her dogs, going to movies, and reading.

Niyah attended Pima Medical Institute in Mesa and has been working as a dental assistant for two years. She joined Mesa Dental Health in April 2025and has quickly become a valued member of our team. Her favorite part of the job is seeing the smiles on the patients faces when their restorative work is complete. Outside of dental assisting, Niyah enjoys reading, painting, and cooking. She’s also a proud mom to a 2-year-old and has an adorable Pug named Frank.

Sarah is one of our Sterile Technicians and Dental Assistants. She has been on our team for over 4 years now. Sarah recently became a mother this past year and enjoys family time with her husband and new baby boy. She also likes to watch movies and read. She keeps our office clean and tidy and helps assist both doctors. She feels lucky to work alongside such sweet people and loves interacting with all the patients.

Summer graduated from Brigham Young University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Summer recently became part of the team in the Spring of 2024 and is one of our Sterile Technicians and Dental Assistants. She helps our office stay clean and organized and helps assist both Doctors. Summer feels blessed to work with such admirable and hardworking people. Summer is a mother to two wonderful kids and loves to spend every moment she can with them. She loves running, hiking, swimming, and traveling.
